Exhibit excellent culinary knowledge and leadership skills while executing special events.
Attend weekly Special Event meetings with Biergarten Supervisor, Head Chef and Special Event Leads.
Ensure a safe operation of the kitchen and adhere to sanitation/safety/security guidelines.
Assist with the daily kitchen operations and ensure all quality standards are maintained.
Assist with food/supply orders and conduct product inventory reporting.
Provide exceptional guest service and assistance.
Assist with all kitchen staff hiring and training.
Assist with creation and posting of weekly back of the house labor schedule. Help monitor labor costs and make adjustments as needed.
Assist in staff supervision on a daily basis.
Other responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and/or Head Chef.
Minimum 2 years experience in a full service kitchen.
Experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
Some culinary education preferred.
Experience cooking with beer preferred.
ServSafe Certification preferred.
Clear understanding of all back of the house responsibilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong guest service skills and being a team player required.
Must be open to flexible working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week.
