Spend a summer helping Anheuser Busch source the raw materials for beer from over 800 growers in the US
Join one of our agronomy teams in the following locations:
Idaho Falls, ID (malting barley, hops)
Fargo, ND (malting barley)
Jonesboro, AR (rice)
Execute a flagship project designed specifically for the intern – e.g., design a nitrogen-optimizing sustainability project for barley growers or collect and analyze data to compare rice varieties
Build agronomic and business knowledge on malting barley, hops, or rice by actively participating in day-to-day Agronomy Team duties
Farm visits and grower outreach
Elevator and malt house support (when possible)
Help plan and execute the July Field Day in each location (grower appreciation and education event)
Present project results to A-B senior management
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, Agriculture Systems, or related field.
Sophomore or Junior status
GPA of 3.0 or greater
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work directly with numerous barley growers, and internal customers.
Good communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex situations using data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), plus possess the ability to learn systems quickly.
Flexible for future relocation
