Reports to: Sales Director

Job Description

  • Oversee functions of marketing department for COWOD, including marketing and event management, shelf space optimization, andsignage and graphics.

  • Responsible for developing innovative programsto assist in increasing brand distribution & awareness.

  • Increase A-B visibility within community throughvarious avenues (sponsorship, media, memberships, etc.)

  • Manage and budget general marketing funds usedto develop/implement/monitor marketing programs.

  • Responsible for preparation and implementationof marketing/media budgets and CA&E budget.

  • Work closely with CA&E consultant on alcoholawareness programs.

  • Oversee Bud Ambassador Program.

  • Enhance A-B’s image, foster goodwill anddemonstrate corporate leadership within the community.

  • Keep Sales Dept. and other branch departmentsapprised of community activities.

  • Work closely with other departmentheads/supervisors on branch issues/projects.

  • Reinforce Branch Mission, Vision, Values.

  • Execute Branch Strategic Plan as it relates toMarketing Department.

  • Oversee all marketing legal projects within theBranch.

  • Participate in Leadership Team meetings andactivities.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

  • Marketing and/or sales experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated coaching skills, supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to meet deadlines and implement improvement processes.

  • Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects.

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position: Bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.

  • Must meet Wholesaler Equity Agreement certification requirements for the position within required timeframes.

  • Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler).

  • Be able and willing to work flexible hours, including nights,weekends, and/or holidays.
