Participates in the process of elaborating and reviewing complex federal & international tax research and planning strategies that minimize the company's tax costs & increase cash flow associated with corporate acquisitions, divestitures and other transactions.
Responsible for modeling alternative scenario planning in these tax areas.
Calculate and model the impact of any changes of federal & international tax legislation. Helps to prepare communication of the potential effects to management.
Supports the implementation of major federal & international tax savings initiatives with the help of nationally known external law and CPA partners.
Acts as a Project Management Person (“PMO”) within the Tax Department, helping controlling of costs & fees and serving as a liaison among the different internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible, in partnership with the Compliance team, for the preparation of the cash tax and ETR budget, 3YP and LE’s of the department as well as the reporting of the monthly performance of the Tax Department.
Supports the Tax VP on the preparation of different materials and presentation for Senior Management.
Participates on the research and planning for US federal taxes and addresses corresponding international tax implications which directly impact potential annual cash flow risk in excess of $1 billion with annual incremental savings goals of $300 million or greater.
Helps on the implementation of action plans, as a PMO, including corporate restructurings for various domestic and international corporate acquisitions or divestitures worth billions.
Responsible for modelling the impact of federal tax legislation and case law.
Supports Tax VP and Senior Tax Directors to manage multiple complex issues with external law and CPA partners of national firms and internal customers.
Must develop an expert status in highly complex and ever-changing federal tax legislative environment.
