High School diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 5 years machinist / millwright experience/certified millwright preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to repair and maintain the following systems: highspeed packaging equipment, pumps, valves, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Certification as a welder preferred. Must have experience welding: MIG, TIG, Arc.
Able to read and understand blue prints and parts manuals.
Able to fabricate parts from blue prints.
Experience with structural rigging and pipefitting is a plus.
Experience with lathes, mills, metal brake, grinder, drill press, hydraulic press, band saw operations, measuring and hand tools.
Ability to work well with others, as well as, independently as required.
Proficient with precision measuring tools working with close tolerances.
- Effectively operate, maintain, and repair equipment used to manufacture aluminum lids.
