Job Description

Manage a team of nine to ensure compliance with government entities and internal control framework for employer related tax reporting, accounting, and pension activities. Support all Anheuser-Busch entities in US who have active payroll accounts and/or retirees. Ensure service satisfaction for internal clients, external clients, and company stakeholders.


  • Payroll Taxes - responsible for all Federal, State, and City Income tax filings. Also for the annual year-end tax process W2's.

  • Employee Pensions - administers processes for all Pension plans for the USA. Includes the legal updates, mailings, and mandatory issuing of statements.

  • Payroll Accounting – ensure compliance to all payroll accounting activities

  • Manage reporting and payments to government agencies, third-party payroll vendors, and pension eligible retirees.

  • Ensure compliance to internal controls, standards, and regulations. Mitigate risks for People Business Services (PBS) team through routine audits and process reviews.

  • Acts as the escalation point for internal and external customers including business unit management to resolve process or customer issues.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and completion of area processes, development and production of required reports and analysis.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance

  • 8 to 10 years Accounting or Payroll experience

  • Management experience

  • Current and extensive working knowledge of employment and tax law; ability to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and reporting requirements

  • Strong understanding of standards, controls, regulations (i.e. SOX, MICS, IFRS, equity agreements, state guidelines)

  • Strong Excel & SAP knowledge
