Operating power plant, refrigeration and water treatment equipment.
Participation in safety related teams or activities.
Troubleshooting mechanical and process instrumentation problems.
Basic chemistry and analytical testing.
Disassembling and reassembling machinery.
Working knowledge of utilities systems.
Stationery Engineers License or current enrollment in a related program is preferred.
Must be able to work Utilities Rotating Shift Schedule (days, afternoons and midnights).
Prior experience in any of the following is a plus: gas turbines, simple cycle, power plant, plant operations, plant maintenance, steam power, power plant generation, steam turbine, substation, boilers, ammonia, power plant operator.
